Decoratieve steken en quiltsteken voor betoverende versieringen


Natuurlijk kun je met de b79 rechte steken, zigzagsteken, rekbare steken of knoopsgaten naaien. De machine heeft echter nog veel meer te bieden: creëer prachtige versieringen met 133 decoratieve steken en 35 quiltsteken. Wil je een bestaande steek aanpassen of je eigen steken creëren? Het kan allemaal met de Steek Designer. Je individuele steekinstellingen worden tijdelijk opgeslagen; daarnaast kun je ze opslaan in het persoonlijke geheugen voor toekomstige projecten.

Afhechtfunctie en automatische draadafsnijder


Met de afhechtfunctie hoef je niet langer achteruit te naaien om een naad af te hechten. Druk eenvoudigweg op de afhechttoets en de naad wordt automatisch afgehecht. Druk vervolgens op de toets voor de automatische draadafsnijder, de draden worden afgesneden en de naad is klaar! Wil je dit proces nog meer versnellen? Programmeer deze functies op het pedaal met back-kick-functie: één tik met je hiel is voldoende!

Comfortabeler naaien


Met de halfautomatische draadinrijger is het inrijgen een fluitje van een cent: de naaivoet wordt automatisch in de juiste positie omlaaggezet en de draad kan voor het inrijgen in de zijdelingse draadafsnijder worden gefixeerd. De kniehevel voor het omhoog- en omlaagzetten van de naaivoet maakt het naaien nog comfortabeler, aangezien je je handen vrij hebt om de stof te geleiden. Daarnaast zorgt het geïntegreerde, eenvoudig te activeren dubbeltransport ervoor dat alle soorten materialen gelijkmatig worden getransporteerd.

Borduurmodule met drie verschillende borduurramen en borduurraamherkenning


Dankzij de drie borduurramen is het makkelijk om het juiste borduurraam voor elke grootte van je borduurontwerpen te vinden. Je kunt motieven tot maximaal 260 x 160 mm borduren zonder van borduurraam te wisselen. De borduurramen zijn eenvoudig te openen en te sluiten met een quick release-systeem. De automatische herkenning van het borduurraam geeft het overeenkomstige borduuroppervlak op het touchscreen weer, zodat je je borduurontwerp optimaal kunt aanpassen.

Creatieve mogelijkheden met borduurpatronen


Met 208 geïntegreerde borduurpatronen en 7 borduuralfabetten heb je de keuze uit een brede selectie van patronen. De motieven kunnen op het touchscreen worden bewerkt, je kunt ze draaien en spiegelen of combineren. Wil je iets echt unieks? De b79 is compatibel met de meeste borduurformaten, je hoeft bestanden niet meer te converteren met een softwareprogramma.

Voor de beste naai- en borduurresultaten


Met de steekplaat van 7 mm kun je prachtige decoratieve steken naaien met een steekbreedte van maximaal 7 mm. Bovendien wordt de stiksteekplaat als standaard accessoire geleverd bij de b79, de ideale steekplaat voor perfecte borduurresultaten. Jouw machine herkent automatisch de bevestigde steekplaat, laat alle compatibele naalden zien en past de steekbreedte automatisch aan.

This tutorial video will show you how to do it step by step. In the first part of the video, you'll see how to edit an existing stitch pattern in the Stitch Designer. We'll show you how to select and move the stitching points and how to add new points. Then the video also shows you how to draw a whole new stitch pattern. For straight-line patterns, you can activate a grid so that your points are automatically placed on the grid points. Of course, all stitches you have created or modified in the Stitch Designer can also be stored in the "Personal Memory" for later use.

The button slides into the button holder, which is then closed together firmly. Then you attach the buttonhole foot and pull the button lever down as far as possible. Now you're ready to sew a test buttonhole on another piece of fabric. Your bernette sewing machine stops automatically when it's done. You can then carefully cut the buttonhole from both ends to the middle and check the buttonhole size. If necessary, you adjust the buttonhole length a little, then mark the position of the buttonhole on your fabric and sew the desired buttonhole.

As soon as you have selected a suitable utility stitch on your bernette 77 or bernette 79, you will see in the presser foot display menu which presser foot can be used. The tutorial video shows you how easy it is to change the presser foot sole: just lift the presser foot, press on the front edge and remove the previous sole. Then you can attach the new presser foot sole so that it snaps into place. Does your selected presser foot have an opening at the back? Then engage the dual feed so that the fabric can be guided through the machine evenly from above and below. In the video, we also show you the different presser feet and their special applications: There is the zigzag foot DA, which is suitable for most sewing. The embroidery foot JK is for applications and decorative stitches. Also, there is the zipper foot RB, the buttonhole foot RJ, the button sewing foot RC, a blindstitch foot DM for barely visible hems, the overlock foot and the embroidery foot RX for freehand embroidery and darning.
